Printmaking Mini-Camp 3rd—8th
This mini-camp will use a variety of traditional and non-traditional printmaking processes to transfer images onto different surfaces, including linocut, Gelli printing, and screen-printing.
Metal-Art Making 4th–8th
The metal art course teaches participants to design and work metal by embossing and painting metal pieces and giving them a particular color and shine. At the end of the course, students will be able to exhibit at least two complete pieces of art.
Reading Camp 5th—8th
Join a dynamic mini-camp in which students read and discuss great books, short stories, and poems while practicing age-appropriate reading skills. This course will emphasize comprehension strategies for middle grade students and, equally important, foster a love of reading for pleasure.
Introduction to Veterinary Medicine 8th—12th
This mini-camp offers a general introduction to small mammal veterinary care. Students will be introduced to animal anatomy, including hands-on dissection and microscope slide preparation, and will learn the basics of physical examinations to learn what is common in healthy pets.
