How many years have you been in education?
35.
 
What’s your favorite class or project to teach?
I love the occasions when I get to teach art and advanced math.
 
What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
Zen: The Art of Simple Living, Shunmyō Masuno
 
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I could draw without any interruption for days.
 
What’s a fun fact about you?
I love to wear clothes with funny designs of animals, especially dogs.
 
What’s a hobby you enjoy outside of school?
I enjoy drawing, coloring, knitting, embroidery, and other crafts.
 
What do you love most about Selwyn?
I love working with a great team with a leader who seeks to listen to the opinions of the entire team to reach agreements. This type of decision-making is analytical and participatory.
 
What tip or advice would you give to students?
I recommend to my students that to be essential human beings, they need values, principles, and a formal education so that they can seek “excellence” every day.
