Lisa Steinbach: 2015-2016 Faculty Reflections

When I began teaching at Selwyn and things would go wrong (as things always do), my students would frequently say, \”Oh, that\’s just the Selwyn way.\” At first, this was a little disconcerting, because it was always when things were going wrong that I heard this.

I\’ve come to realize it has a deeper meaning. Doing things the Selwyn way means you adapt, you improvise, and you overcome. To the seniors, these are skills that will serve you well.
