Lisa Steinbach: 2015-2016 Faculty Reflections
June 4th, 2016
When I began teaching at Selwyn and things would go wrong (as things always do), my students would frequently say, “Oh, that’s just the Selwyn way.” At first, this was a little disconcerting, because it was always when things were going wrong that I heard this.
I’ve come to realize it has a deeper meaning. Doing things the Selwyn way means you adapt, you improvise, and you overcome. To the seniors, these are skills that will serve you well.
