Deb recently attended the 21st Annual Independent School Management Heads Retreat in New Orleans. Independent School Management is one of the most recognized and valuable research providers for private school education and Selwyn is proud to be a member. ISM is dedicated to the advancement of independent schools and provides creative strategies by combining extensive research, proven management techniques, and personalized service. The Heads Retreat is focused on identifying desirable educational and organizational outcomes as well as the Board’s strategic plan and leadership’s role in achieving those results.
The conference is dedicated to the advancement of school managers and leaders and provides strategies, tactics and educational opportunities to school heads in order to optimize organizational performance. ISM shares findings based on data and facts that create a matrix for the most successful schools. Further, it is a network of school heads from the across the nation. The ISM Heads Retreat gives the school leaders a forum to gather with private-independent school peers to discuss key topics and trends, get input from ISM experts, and forge a network of support for years to come.
